Expect Cristopher Nilstorp to be the Game 1 starter for the Texas Stars against the Oklahoma City Barons.

Stars coach Willie Desjaradins wouldn’t confirm his Game 1 starter after practice on Monday and had a tough decision between Jack Campbell and Nilstorp. While Campbell has the better save percentage and goals against average this season, he’s played less games and Nilstorp hasn’t lost in regulation since Feb. 17.
Nilstorp was the playoff starter for Texas last season. He won the series against Milwaukee in four games, but was the losing goalie in the second round against Oklahoma City. He also posted a .922 save percentage and 2.30 goals against average.
Update: here are the stats for both Campbell and Nilstorp against the Barons this season.
