The Texas Stars have added forward Taylor Stefishen according to the official ECHL transactions page.
Stefishen has 18 points in 23 games with the Elmira Jackals and is in his first year of professional hockey.
He was drafted by the Nashville Predators in 2008 and then played at Ohio State for two years. He left Ohio State prematurely when his scholarship was pulled before his junior year.
Stefishen then spent a year with the Prince George Cougars in the WHL before finishing his collegiate career with three seasons at the University of Calgary.
He was tied for the Jackals’ lead in points and attend AHL training camp with the Rochester Americans.
