Curtis McKenzie assigned to Texas Stars, expected in lineup tonight

Curtis McKenzie has been reassigned to the Texas Stars and is expected to be in the lineup tonight against the San Antonio Rampage.

McKenzie was likely going to be a healthy scratch in Dallas’ game tonight and with the upcoming NHL All-Star break, last season’s AHL Rookie of The Year will have a chance to play three at least three games with Texas (tonight and twice against Chicago) before another call-up.

The Stars aren’t skating this morning before heading to San Antonio, but McKenzie will likely slide back onto the top line with Travis Morin and Greg Rallo.
