CEDAR PARK — Goalie Jack Campbell was practicing during the Texas Stars optional skate on Sunday morning and the former first-round pick is close to making his season debut.
“From what we know right now, updated on Saturday, Jack will be a full-time practice player Tuesday,” Stars coach Derek Laxdal said. “We’ll see how he gets through today, this morning skate. But, he should be be full-time ready to get up and running here Tuesday morning.”
Campbell injured his blocker hand during Dallas Stars training camp and hasn’t officially been assigned to the Texas Stars yet. Once he’s cleared to play, he’ll officially be added to the Texas Stars roster.
